Welcome to Mount Gerizim

Residential developments in Kasoa and its environs are sprawling with the population growing at a very fast rate. However, the government has not been able to keep up with the population growth rate in terms of the provision of school infrastructure for basic schools for children of school going ages. This has resulted in overcrowding in classrooms with its attendant problems of poor performance in basic literacy and mathematics. This has resulted in the mushrooming of private schools in the area with inadequate to non-existent infrastructure to cater for the needs of students.

Mount Gerizim is a newly built school in Kasoa, closer to the Obom - Domeabra area to serve the needs of parents who want quality yet affordable schools with adequate basic infrastructure for their wards. This includes spacious, well ventilated, well-illuminated classrooms furnished with modern classroom furniture to facilitate teaching and learning.

Curriculum

The school is currently pursuing the Ghana Education Service curriculum from Kindergarten to Basic 9.

Early Childhood - from 18 months
Primary – Basic 1 to Basic 6
Junior High – Basic 7 to Basic 9
